The buzz of a new short film tackling the issues surrounding identity in this generation is making waves across social media. The film titled Dysphoria, directed by “Dennis Y. Delemar, exposes the very real threats our youth are facing when it comes to identity and sexuality. For the first time globally, the traditional definitions of a man and a woman are being challenged and redefined in the public sphere, including the public school systems. Whether or not we can answer the question of what is a man and what is a woman seems absurd, but taking a deeper dive reveals that it is truly a question that every one of us seeks to answer while growing up.
